Lowy Institute Wallpaper Border Repair

Wallpaper reconstruction work in the Lowy Institute included the repair and artistic touch up work to the decorative border in the front lobby after it had been damaged by water. It required colour matching of the existing heritage colour scheme and artistically painting the border including the decorative design to blend in with the original design.

In the photo featured below, you can see the wallpaper in the office that had been previously occupied by Prime Minister Paul Keating. Sections of the wallpaper had been damaged and after we repaired it, Gary Lancaster applied an antique finish to repair the damaged sections to blend in with the rest of the wallpaper.
