Lancaster Painters Australia performed interior heritage reconstruction work to the front entrance archway of Willow Brook mansion. It included repolishing the exterior side of the front door and repair and artistic touch up work to the interior wood graining of the front door. All surfaces were thoroughly prepared prior to commencement of works. Gary had to pay particular attention to keep the William Morris wallpaper and carpet clean and intact whilst performing the works. At all times, he kept the work area clean and tidy.

Gary Lancaster artistically hand painted wood grain finishes to the timber around the internal fan light and two sidelights of the entrance. He ensured the matching of the original wood grain of the timber in colour, texture and design. Wood grain finishes included medium oak and burl walnut wood grain. Gary also stripped the paint off the brass fitting for the bell, cleaned and polished it. He repainted the original casing of the door handle lock and cleaned the lion and unicorn symbol. Repaint work included filling and painting the wall around the archway.
